On August 31st, more than 2,000 people from 250+ religious congregations & non-profits in every county in the state attended NJTogether's statewide action focused on issues related to racial equity & criminal justice. US Senator Robert Menenez, NJ Senate President Steve Sweeney, & Assembly Speaker Craig Coughlin attended and pledged to work with NJTogether. Focus issues included stopping unnecessary driver's license suspensions, sentencing reform, investing in homeownership & our youth, and more.
