On Monday, October 1st, 125 leaders from across Jersey City Together gathered at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church to prepare for a public action planned for December 2018.
At the meeting, there was a brief training about how to run a house meeting, and congregations made commitments to listen to their leaders and to others in their community. At the end of the night, there were pledges to listen to more than 1,000 people in the coming 2 months, and to turn out more than 500 to an action with Mayor Fulop in December.
We're looking forward to the work we have ahead on issues related to safety & policing, education, and housing.
